Support the Critical Languages Program

Founded in 1988, The University of Arizona Critical Languages Program has grown from four Hungarian students in one class to over 400 students enrolled in 17 languages.

Since 1996, we have developed 14 interactive multimedia textbooks for less commonly taught languages. In 2009, we published Beginning Kurmanji Kurdish, Intermediate Ukrainian, and Advanced Turkish. They are available in DVD-ROM format and on the web.

CLP is also the headquarters of NASILP, providing channels and resources for over 60 member institutions to create and grow their own less commonly taught language programs.

CLP is committed to giving students unique skills and opportunities. Help us continue by giving online.
