AATF Arizona

 

 

AATF Arizona is a chapter of the National American Association of Teachers of French.  As a dues-paying member, you will benefit from the following:

From National AATF:

(1)  Receive the AATF National Bulletin (4 issues/year) and the French Review journal (6 issues/year), as well as materials and flyers for promoting French study.
(2)  Enroll your students in the National French Contest.
(3)  Form a chapter of the Société Honoraire de Français to celebrate your students' achievements in French.
(4)  Establish pen-pals or key-pals for your students by using the services of the Bureau de Correspondance Scolaire.
(5)  Compete for AATF instructor awards and instructor study abroad scholarship opportunities.
(6)  Apply for a Summer Scholarship or submit a proposal for an AATF Small Grant Award.
(7)  Attend special AATF workshops, seminars, and the annual conference.
(8)  Access resources to facilitate the sponsorship of National French Week at your school (November 7-13, 2001)

From AATF Arizona:


(1)  Receive the AATF Arizona newsletter, which includes articles on current events across the state, lesson plans from local members, and local language news.
(2)  Join the AATF Arizona listserv and receive messages about issues of local concern.  The listserv also provides teachers with a forum to ask questions and receive/give advice to each other.
 

Membership is by calendar year (January-December). If you wish to join the AATF, please add $3.00 for Arizona's s chapter dues, to your annual subscription ($48 total, for regular subscriptions).  Both state and national dues are to be sent to National AATF headquarters.
