On September the 22nd and 23rd, the Partnership Across Languages hosted the 17th annual Second Language Teachers’ Symposium which was held in conjunction with the annual conference of the Arizona Language Association at the University Park Marriott in Tucson.
Many of the language professionals who attended the Second Language Teachers’ Symposium also attended the complete, 2-day AZLA Conference and took advantage of the unusual Town Hall event on Friday morning. After opening remarks from UA President Peter Likins and Secretary of State Betsy Bayless, the participants discussed a number of important issues relating to language learning throughout the state.
